Hello 3HundredHeroes! :D

Celeste here :D I'm here to introduce the Interclass Maths and Science Challenge 2009. The preliminary rounds will take place during week 2 July, when school reopens D:

Here are some of the details:
1) Come up with a 'show and tell' presentation to explain a Math or Science concept
[a list of Math/Science concepts & props will be given to you to choose from during week 1]
2) The presentation should last 4-5 mins
3) Judging criterion includes teamwork, creativity, clarity of presentation and accuracy of content
4) A panel of 4 judges will shortlist 5 teams from each level, in which 3 consolation prizes will be awarded while the top 2 go into the finals

Are you interested? If so, form a group of 3-5 with the rest of our classmates, anyone you want. Only 1 team can be sent to represent our class, so yep choose wisely k. Also, 3H will be of 1 team, 3B/3C will be of other teams, so regardless of where you head to for math lessons, as long as you belong to 3H, you're eligible to represent our class :D
Also, you need not be good in math/science only, because this is a show-and-tell and students are encouraged to tap on multiple intelligences. You can be someone creative/proficient speaker or whatever. Class league points will be awarded! :D
So yup if you're interested please let me (Celeste) know by this coming Monday (term 2 week 10). I gotta submit the name list to Mrs Kong by then. For more details of the competition, you can approach me too.
